What sets the Bambu P1P/P1S aside from other printers?

One major point of difference is that the Bambu P1P/P1S uses the CoreXY motion system. In this setup, the printhead moves through the X and Y axes via a dual belt system running across the upper gantries and frame of the printer. This motion system differs from the rectilinear system typically found on 3D printers at this price point.

The primary upside of the CoreXY system is drastically increased printing speed. Pairing this speedy motion system with a hot end capable of reaching 300°C for broad filament compatibility, machine learning-supported “spaghetti” error detection, and multi-colour multi-material printing support; this machine punches well above its weight in all key areas.
